About me

"The body is the garden of the soul"
T. Kushner

gold dust

My journey into holistic and complementary healthcare began over 20 years ago, when I received my first Shiatsu treatment while on holiday — it quite literally touched something in me. That powerful experience led me to train at the European Shiatsu School, where I completed a thorough and complex 3-year diploma.

I have always had an inquisitive mind and keen interest in holistic therapies and my personal development and practice are an ongoing exploration and I continue to learn. In the past 10+ years, I’ve expanded my practice through ongoing professional development and additional qualifications — including becoming a Thai Yoga Massage (Nuad) Practitioner, a Level 3 Pilates Instructor, a chair-based movement and fitness instructor and a qualification as a mindfulness teacher.

Although I have stepped away from working as a hands-on as a Shiatsu and Thai Yoga Massage therapist after more than 15 years (a decision made with a heavy heart), I remain deeply passionate about passing on what I’ve learned and all my offerings blend my knowledge and experience. Supporting others on their journey is incredibly motivating and inspiring. I also love bringing people together as a group, coming together, finding support and sharing experiences.

I love nature, the natural world, animals and gardening and I love spending time in nature and around animals. Being in nature helps me forget the stresses of life, I find real inner peace, a connection and sense of being grounded.

I also have a keen interest in conservation work and support various projects around the world. Especially close to my heart is the big iconic megafauna of Africa and - if I have a chance - apply my budding photography skills to capture a perfect moment.

At the heart of what I do is a desire to help others feel more at home in their bodies, more connected with one another,  more grounded and with an increased sense of wellbeing. Whether through movement, mindful touch or shared laughter, I believe in the simple, powerful joy of feeling well — together.
